Memories Touch is the brainchild of two sisters, Lynne and Arlene, who are driven by love and believe in the healing power of hugs.
Lynne and Arlene’s mother, Dorothy, was known as the “Hug Lady” in their small town. When she passed away in 2006, Lynne made the first Memory Bear. Through this plush bear her legacy lives on. Her memory – and hugs – stay close.

Frequently we are enlisted to help preserve the memory of loved ones. From the depths of grief comes a beautiful tribute: a way of holding people close even after they’ve passed on. It’s a healing gift of nostalgia, of gratitude, and ultimately, of love.
“Research shows that grief is a whole-body experience. Sight, touch, and smells associated with special people trigger deep physical, emotional – and even spiritual – experiences, that calm, comfort, and help us heal.”
